The actual art looks quite striking compared to these shots. Jackie and I hastily took these photos late at night, so the lighting is not consistent. In some cases light reflections may appear as tiny little white flecks - they are not on the paintings. These photos are intended to convey the general idea of the paintings, but are not image reproductions.
I accept payment by check, or all major credit cards. Prices are for the art as is, and do not include MN sales tax or shipping. I will deliver to anyone located between the Twin Cities and Fargo. Otherwise, arrangements will need to be made for shipping.

Big Sandy Creek
This painting was titled by my friend Larry Winn (Winn Devon, Grand Image) because it reminded him of a stream in Montana, near where he grew up. In real life this is a scene from the North Branch of the Iowa River, close to where it flows into the Mississippi - Iowa on the left, Minnesota on the right. Posters of this painting are sold in galleries and frame shops around the world. Here's your chance to own the original!

About 10 years ago I taught a painting workshop to an art club in Clinton, Illinois. This was a plein aire painting I created after hours, of a stream near my host's country home.

Between Dog and Wolf
Smaller painting (for me, a miniature) of the view out my studio window. The title is from a French idiomatic expression for "dusk" - I thought this very appropriate for the warm light at day's end (dog) contrasting with the encroaching cool shadows of the coming night (wolf).
